    Thinking about getting one but need to know what the Maxisys MS908 has to offer function wise that the Maxisys Mini MS905 can't do.

                       Look at maxisys or mmaxisys mini post currently on next page and yes has an HDMI port but haven't used yet

     you wont be sorry you did.... I think the mini is better than the ms908 for me because the functions are identical..besides the passthru box.I never use anything other than OEM to flash and download software into a vehicle so the ms908 wouldnt have been a good match for me ,so coding and configuration of the mini was perfect ..
